ABOUT SGMA
Solapur Garment Manufacturers Association
Shri Solapur Readymade Kapad Utpadak Sangh (SGMA) is the association of readymade garment manufacturers in Solapur, Maharashtra – a city that has been making quality uniforms for over seven decades.
SGMA organises the annual Uniform Garment Manufacturers Fair, bringing the industry together with retailers, schools, institutions and corporate buyers from across India. The 10th edition is held in Chennai, in association with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, and the Textile Ministry, Government of Maharashtra.
Free stitching training centre
Running since June 2017 at Akkalkot Road industrial area. 200+ women trained and placed in Solapur garment units.
Garment Park
Working to bring Solapur’s scattered manufacturing units together in one textile park at Chincholi MIDC.
