Who we are
Shri Solapur Readymade Kapad Utpadak Sangh — the Solapur Garment Manufacturers Association (SGMA) — brings together the readymade garment makers of Solapur. The city's garment industry has been making quality uniforms for over seven decades and today supplies schools, institutions and businesses across India.
Beyond the annual fair, SGMA runs a free stitching training centre for women, is working towards a garment park at Chincholi MIDC, and publishes Uniform Insider, a business newsletter for the uniform trade.
About the fair
India's 10th Uniform Garment Manufacturers Fair 2026 takes place from 9 to 11 December 2026 at Chennai Trade Centre, Hall 4, Nandambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600089.
Around 5,000 trade visitors are expected from across India. The fair promotes and helps expand the garment manufacturing industry of Solapur, and through marketing and overseas promotion also aims to attract buyers from abroad.
The fair is organised by Shri Solapur Readymade Kapad Utpadak Sangh in association with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, and the Textile Ministry, Government of Maharashtra. Personal invitations are going to retailers in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Maharashtra.
The previous (9th) edition was held at NESCO Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E), Mumbai, from 26 to 28 November 2025.
